We thought that it was important to give and present a clear message. Everyone needs to understand and realise that gender violence is real, and it's more usual than it seems. We start with presents, hearts, love... but then a knife, handcuffs and hate appear. What we see on the outside does not reflect what's actually happening on the inside.
Being trapped in a toxic relationship can feel the same as being tied up with strings. For this reason, we decided to choose this slogan for our campaign: A short but thought-provoking quote. We are not their puppets, you must choose your own story and live the life you deserve.
